It's cool today and the smoke from the fires in the northwest is making it very hazy here today.

I got up early and got to the Lamar Valley by 6:30, just in time to see 5 wolves. It was 4 pups and the alpha female of the Lamar Canyon pack. We only saw them briefly, but they did howl for a bit, as well:

The picture isn't very good. I'm still working on using this new setup.

Later, Doug and Melba showed me a new place to see the wolves in the Hayden Valley. I'll go back there again later.
